The history of WinkhausThe story of the Group of companies.In 2004, the Winkhaus Group celebrated its 150th anniversary. The family-owned company, with its headquarters at Telgte near Münster in Germany, can look back on a story full of tradition and success. In 1854, the company's founder August Winkhaus opened an agency business selling hardware and specialising in padlocks. From these humble beginnings grew the multinational corporation which today employs approximately 2000 people all over the world in its three divisions: Doors, Windows and Automation.
