A new benchmark in window monitoring systems

activPilot Control enables you to monitor windows electronically in a variety of different ways. The areas of climate control, extraction control and alarm monitoring can be controlled and monitored with locking contacts specially developed for the use.
The Winkhaus activPilot Control locking sensors are integrated in the window fitting and are therefore not immediately noticeable.

Status monitoring based on magnet contacts:

Unobtrusive locking sensors reliably report which windows or balcony doors are open or locked. They are also suitable for use as window contacts for controlling radiators or extraction hoods. The locking sensors are designed for monitoring as a system-neutral intruder alarm solution and can be combined with all standard alarm systems. The magnet monitoring contacts used are recognized by the VdS (Property Insurer Association) and certified to VdS class B.

Locking monitoring based on RFID contacts (VDS-C):

Winkhaus has developed a new dimension in window surveillance systems with an innovative technological concept : the fitting-integrated locking sensor with transponder technology (RFID). Unique on the market, this window fitting replaces the standard magnetic alarm contact in such systems with an RFID-controlled lock sensor.
This technology enhances protection against deliberate damage and tampering of lock surveillance systems. The RFID signal contacts used are recognized by the VdS (Property Insurer Association) and certified to VdS class B.

System advantages

  • Can be integrated into Winkhaus activPilot standard turn-tilt fittings easily and with no problems
  • Integration in other fitting systems possible (on request)
  • Can be adjusted via slotted holes
  • The locking sensors can be used for standard window designs
  • Status query requires a switching contact consisting of a contact keep in the frame and a contact sensor in the sash (magnet or RFID contact)

  • Combined open and closed monitoring
  • Contact keep in the frame in a design adapted to the frame geometry
  • Cable lengths 6 or 25 m

Locking monitoring VdS class B (VS.BK. …)

  • Combined open and closed Monitoring
  • Contact keep in the frame in a design adapted to the frame geometry
  • With additional status query tilt (K)

Locking monitoring VdS class C (VS-A/C-RFID…)

  • Combined open and closed monitoring
  • RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) refers to wireless detection via contact-free data carriers (transponder technology)
  • VdS-approved locking sensor with sabotage loop and integrated LED display to show triggered alarm signals
  • The locking sensor is not system-free and requires an external power supply for permanent status query

Open monitoring for climate control (VS.K…)

  • Monitoring the position of the sash – status query: tilted or closed?
  • Switching unit to avoid loss of energy when the window is open and the heating is on

Open monitoring for extraction hood control (VS.DIBT…)

  • Combined open and closed monitoring in intruder alarm systems class B, VdS no. G 106511

  • How it works: magnet contact
