Winkhaus Belgium SRL at the Polyclose 2024 in Ghent

Contemporary technology for modern front doors and windows in large formats and trendy designs are the focus of Winkhaus' trade fair presence at Polyclose in Ghent. At the same time, the newly founded Winkhaus Belgium SRL will be presenting itself to the trade public. The opening of the company in Beaufays, near Liège, on the 1st of January is a clear sign of Winkhaus' commitment to the Belgian market. This strategic move should help to consolidate the company's position as one of the leading hardware manufacturers in Europe. At the same time, the company aims to provide even closer cooperation and support for its partners and customers in Belgium.

Modern windows are very demanding, both in production and in installation. It is common for professionals to handle sash weights of 130 kilograms and more. The Winkhaus activPilot Concept tilt-turn window hardware system is designed to meet these challenges. With its strong hinge side, the hardware can even support sashes weighing up to 150 kilograms.

For elegant designer windows with narrow frames, Winkhaus offers the activPilot Topstar window fitting. This system can be used to create a wide range of PVC, timber or aluminium windows that close flush on the inside and have no visible fittings. This makes it possible to create large and heavy windows with sash weights of up to 150 kg. Innovative tie-rod technology ensures high strength. It also facilitates handling in the factory and on site.

In addition, Winkhaus is offering Belgian metal fabricators the aluPilot system, which not only makes it possible to produce a wide range of window elements for commercial construction, but also saves a considerable amount of time in the production of aluminium windows. The system aluPilot saves the fitting time by up to ten minutes.


Convenience for dark exterior doors
With its new generation of security door locking systems, Winkhaus is offering door manufacturers a user-friendly solution for expanding their range of trendy entrance doors. The new automatic locking system autoLock AV4D, the motorised locking systems blueMaticEAV4 and EAV4+ and the fully motorised security door locking systems blueMotion+ are robust, convenient, and particularly suitable for dark exterior doors. In addition to RC2 burglar resistance, this easy-to-install technology offers many other useful features. Modern entrance doors are not just about protection and prestige. They now have a firm place in the smarthome world.

The highlight of the new blueMatic EAV4+ and blueMotion+ door locking systems is the 'plus' in convenience. This is made possible by an innovative motor box with an integrated radio module that communicates via Bluetooth or WLAN. This enables the blueMatic EAV4+ to be unlocked and the blueMotion+ to be locked and unlocked via the Winkhaus doorControl app (Android and IOS). This turns the smartphone into a universal door opener and eliminates the need to install additional access controls.

The perfect appearance – a top hat with a sophisticated look
Winkhaus' high design standards extend to the door cylinder. This is why the manufacturer has extended its range to include matt black cylinders in many variations. They are available as double, half and knob cylinders in various designs up to a length of 80 mm per side.
