Winkhaus easyPilot The fitting for pivoting windows. With its cross-market and internationally usable fitting solutions, Winkhaus increasingly opens up markets in which the tilt-and-turn hinges are not used. Innovative technology enables streamlining possibilities and also process safety in the assembly of pivoting windows. With the easyPilot pivot-window fitting, the company satisfies the wishes of industrial users for well-organized and uniform fitting systems. The pivoting hinge is suitable for both aluminum and plastic windows, as well as for wood profile windows. Among other points, the window hinge is characterized by its ease of installation, since all common window types can be serviced by a single system.

The products ‘easyPilot Cobra’, ‘easyPilot Soleil’ and ‘easyPilot Care’ were individually developed for specific requirements. The ‘Cobra hinge system was designed specifically for the British window market. The Cobra system’s burglary-resistant design was awarded the ‘Police Preferred Specifications’ certificate.
With ‘easyPilot Soleil’ only one gear-rail per window type is required; the connecting rails can be used repeatedly as fixed or cut-length components. A high-level of flexibility offers major advantages for processors: The required warehousing and, with that, the inventory costs are reduced, while a higher turnover in the stock of semi-finished product reduces the cost of capital investment. In addition, employee training costs and the entire cost of administration is kept at a much lower level, than costs associated with conventional window fitting systems.
Winkhaus has recently opened up the Dutch market with ‘easyPilot Care’ hinge. The hinge is a special pivoting ratchet-lock for turn, tilt or top-hung windows. It also guarantees a high level of security for narrow profile windows; even those manufactured from soft woods.
