Winkhaus – window and façade surveillance

State-of-the-art security.

The dramatically increasing number of burglaries clearly highlights the importance attached to this problem. Windows and doors need state-of-the-art security measures. The integrated components are concealed in the window fittings (e.g. Winkhaus autoPilot). The signaling contacts are linked with the window mechanism, so that the alarm system is only activated when the windows are actually locked.

Previously, Reed-contacts that had been fitted for surveillance to the casement were, in most cases, visible. The Winkhaus autoPilot Control remote locking sensor for the alarm and surveillance system is integrated into the window hinges and is therefore difficult to detect.
The Winkhaus autoPilot remote locking sensor consists of a frame mounted conductor strip (VS-KSB-A) with an integrated Reed-contact, in combination with a casement mounted magnetic-contact. The remote locking sensors can be used with all common window types.

The advantages of Winkhaus signaling contacts:

• Simple and easy to integrate into the Winkhaus autoPilot Standard tilt-and-turn fittings
• Retrofitting is possible
• Integration in building control systems (e.g. EIB) is possible
• Authorized as intrusion detector without system linkage by VdS-Schadensverhütungs-GmbH.
