Classroom Function

A special function that can be requested with all AZ and VS6 cylinders, is the "Classroom Function".  Like most cylinders this allows doors to locked and unlocked from the outside using a key but the key feature is the door can not be locked from the inside.

The Classroom Cylinder

A secure cylinder which is ideal for classrooms and other doors for situations when you do want the door to be locked from inside, necessitating a key to unlock the door from the outside.

The classroom cylinder allows the door to be locked and unlocked using a key from the outside only.  From the inside the door can be unlocked using the thumbturn but can not be locked.
