Exclusive materials and puristic forms characterise the architecture of the Budersand Hotel in Sylt, Germany. A unique design solution was used in this exclusive ambience for intelligent access management. The blueChip electronic access management from Winkhaus controls access to around 300 doors conveniently and reliably in the superior five-star hotel with 18-hole golf course.
Only Winkhaus blueChip was able to meet the expectations of interior designer Jan Wichers and owner Claudia Ebert. The intelligent EZK door handles were installed in the hotel in a custom design. The fitting closes completely flush on the door surface.
The doors to the guest rooms and to the library received the intelligent design fittings. Fifty additional doors to the administrative areas of the hotel and the golf clubhouse were equipped with offline-operating blueChip cylinders. Online readers monitor access to five outside entries. The staff entrance and incoming goods area are also equipped with finger scanners.
Guest room and library doors received self-locking panic locks. They lock the door tightly as soon as the latch enters the lock.
