Alfred Dinkelborg takes over chairmanship

Gütegemeinschaft Schlösser und Beschläge restructures the Management Board

Change in the Management Board at Gütegemeinschaft Schlösser und Beschläge: Alfred Dinkelborg succeeds Richard Rackl as Chairman of the Board.

After eight years as Deputy Chairman of the Board, Alfred Dinkelborg has taken over as Chairman of the Board at Gütegemeinschaft Schlösser und Beschläge. The Director of Product Management and member of the Winkhaus Group’s management is experienced in the industry and is familiar with the specific requirements for the technical components of building elements.

The former chairman Richard Rackl made his office available to reduce his workload. He can look back on a total of 16 years on the Board of Directors, eight of which he spent as Chairman. At its meeting on 16 November 2023, the Gütegemeinschaft Management Board thanked him for his voluntary commitment and recognised his long-term service. Wolfgang Landwehr will continue as Deputy Chairman.

Gütegemeinschaft Schlösser und Beschläge is an organisation for the implementation and monitoring of quality assurance and awards the RAL quality mark to quality-monitored manufacturers of lock and fitting products. These undergo strict tests voluntarily and thus guarantee high-quality products for consumers.
Gütegemeinschaft Schlösser und Beschläge is based on national and international standards, is regularly checked by independent testing institutes and is subject to RAL monitoring by the Deutsches Institut für Gütesicherung und Kennzeichnung e. V. (German institute for quality assurance and labelling) (RAL).
Successful participation in RAL monitoring entitles manufacturers of products and providers of services in the lock and fittings industry to be awarded the RAL quality mark (RAL-GZ 607).
The current 44 members of the association include lock and fitting manufacturers.
