Winkhaus wins German Brand Award in gold

blueEvo locking system impresses with consistent brand strategy

Winkhaus was honoured with one of the highest awards at the German Brand Awards for its strategic brand management concerning the electronic blueEvo locking system: The company has been awarded gold in the “Excellent Brands - Building and Elements” category. The expert jury particularly appreciated the consistent combination of design, functionality and brand identity.

Brand strategy focused on the customer
With this award, the German Design Council recognises companies standing out due to a convincing and sophisticated brand strategy and design competence. "The project makes a great impact with high-quality visualisations, authentic communication and a use-oriented approach. blueEvo sets standards in the category and impressively demonstrates how brand work is implemented strategically and with excellent design," says the jury’s assessment.

For the company, the award is a confirmation of its strategic path: “Winkhaus stands for reliability and the goal of offering our customers real added value - in terms of products, service and communication,” says Tilmann Winkhaus, Member of the Executive Board of the Winkhaus Group. “With blueEvo, we have succeeded in making this brand attitude visible and tangible.”

The German Brand Awards are presented by the German Design Council and once a year honour companies that impress with exceptional brand management. The 20-member jury - consisting of experts from business, science, consultancy, service and agency - recognises projects and brands that set new standards and realise innovative ideas.
