Thanks to our modular retrofit system, the craftsman can equip your windows directly on site with burglary-resistant fittings as per DIN 18104 Part 2. Unlike many standard market solutions, retrofitting Winkhaus fittings is virtually invisible. Only internal parts are exchanged and no disruptive elements are attached to the window.

Hardened steel security
Winkhaus fittings achieve their high level of burglary resistance through the use of mushroom-head locking systems which are mounted all around the window. Every security-relevant part is manufactured from hardened steel, including the mushroom heads and security keeps.
