You will find the system number on your security card, and also on the programming card for electronic locking systems (blueChip and blueSmart). For mechanical locking systems, we place the system and locking number on both the cylinder and the key.
In the case of electronic locking systems (blueChip and blueSmart), the system number is on the door component (cylinder, door handle fitting, access reader) and the identification medium (key, key fob and ID card). The component ID can also be found there. This is unique for every identification medium and every door component in a locking system.
We assign the system number in the access control/time management system to enable a clear system specification.
The system number for your access control/time management system can be found on all order confirmations, invoices, delivery notes and configuration plans. You can see the system number under Info in the header in the software.
In the case of external doors in particular, the cylinder must not protrude more than 3 mm from the fitting. The correct measurement is therefore crucial for the security offered by the lock cylinder. The cylinder has a total length consisting of the length of the outer side (A side) and the inner side (B side). The A and B length is always measured from the hole (face plate screw hole) with which the locking cylinder is fixed in the door lock using a face plate screw. If the programming card is lost, a replacement programming card can be obtained from the specialist dealer. The new programming card is given the next free, consecutive card number and automatically revokes the authorisation of the previous programming card the first time it is used. Alternatively, an additional programming card can be ordered. In this case, other active programming cards retain their authorisation.
