ATC Generalunternehmungen GmbH has been a leading contractor in the field of industrial and commercial construction since 1993. To ensure highly secure access, the company decided to switch to the electronic access control system blueEvo from Winkhaus. The integration was quick and straightforward and has sustainably optimised the company’s security structure.

Within the scope of the conversion from mechanical to electronic access control, the decisive criterion was that the new system had to be flexible, secure and easy to administer. Thanks to the competent advice and planning of Winkhaus Austria, the entire system could be installed within one day. Keys and access rights were issued on the same day, ensuring smooth and uninterrupted operations.
As this was an existing building, it was important that no structural changes were made to the doors. The system’s wireless technology permitted quick and easy installation in a 1:1 process.

With over 60 employees requiring different access authorisations, the new locking system provides optimised access control. Locking permissions are conveniently assigned via software, allowing Virtual Network Hubs to quickly activate permissions across virtual networks. This is achieved by using so-called upload intervals. Keys automatically lose their validity, and their validity is extended on contact with Virtual Network Hubs. At the same time, a relay opens the door and loads the current validity, as well as logging individual locking events and battery status information on request. This allows for the audit-proof documentation of all access events, thus providing a highly transparent and secure system. Personal rights are protected with EU-GDPR compliant retention periods and options for 4 or 6-eyes access to data via BE blueControl.
