The complete portfolio ranges from convenient variants suitable for everyday use to
solutions for special security needs. Among other things, the former make operation
effortless and accessible – for example in office buildings, hospitals or retirement
homes. Winkhaus has developed systems to prevent uncontrolled opening or closing
of windows for children’s safety. These are especially important in kindergartens or
schools.
The complete range also includes opening limiters, which make an important
contribution to the fall protection of windows tested in accordance with FE18/1. They
limit the opening width and hold window sashes in position even in draughty conditions.
This makes them especially well suited for public buildings and office complexes with
floor-to-ceiling windows. The range is supplemented by classic turn limiters, which
primarily serve to preserve the value of windows over the long term.

The aluPilot opening limiters comply with relevant safety standards such as EN 13126-5 and are certified for their respective areas of application. Robust materials and highquality components ensure a long service life. In addition, the systems are compatible with different window profiles and can be easily integrated into both new building projects and existing structures. “Our opening limiters combine high security requirements with modern convenience.
