High product quality and strong collaboration are key to the future

Winkhaus at Fensterbau Frontale

Much of the international industry for windows, doors and façades once again gathered in Nuremberg at the end of March for the Fensterbau Frontale 2026. After an intensive week at the trade fair, Winkhaus' conclusion is thoroughly positive: personal exchange with customers, partners and industry representatives was clearly in focus and is proving to be a decisive factor in future success.

Winkhaus presented practical answers to current market requirements with its new brand identity and its comprehensive portfolio of system solutions for window technology, security door locking systems and access control. The focus was on solutions for increased convenience, security and energy efficiency. At the same time, Winkhaus presented tried-and-tested product lines that have continuously been refined.

New semi-automatic door locking system
One of the highlights was the activPilot Comfort PADKM. The window fitting system combines the proven parallel action with a motorised control unit and thus creates a new form of ventilation. Winkhaus also showcased its new hookLock HA semi-automatic door locking system. Additional sealing elements allow flexible adjustment of the contact pressure, which increases security and ease of use.

Exceptionally large and heavy elements also played an important role. In light of a rise in demand for large-format glazing and modern architecture, Winkhaus presented systems for windows and doors that guarantee reliable operating convenience and safe function even with heavy sash weights. The company thus combines sophisticated design with technical performance and ease of handling. There was also the wide portfolio of aluPilot opening limiters, easily accessible window and door solutions and the modern blueEvo access control system.

Close exchange of ideas as an important impulse
In addition to the innovations, it was above all the dialogue that shaped the trade fair. “We learned a lot from the various discussions at the trade fair. This includes new ideas and suggestions as well as practical experience. For us, this exchange of ideas is essential, as it forms the basis for the further development of our systems and services,” says Tilmann Winkhaus, Member of the Management Board.

The positive impression was also confirmed from a sales perspective: “We are experiencing an industry that is actively dealing with future issues and building on reliable partnerships. This is precisely where we come in with our solutions and consulting concepts,” explains Timm Scheible, Managing Director Sales and Member of the Management Board.

The industry meeting in Nuremberg demonstrated the importance of close contact within the industry. Collaborative partnership and constructive exchange are indispensable in order to develop future-proof solutions together, especially in a dynamic market environment, given the current economic situation.

Strategically significant industry meeting
The intensive discussions not only served to exchange ideas within the network, but also provided important ideas and impetus for the future. For Winkhaus, contact in person and on location remains an indispensable component of sustainable business relationships despite increasing digitalisation.

This assessment is also supported by the current Winkhaus trend study: in addition to technological innovation and high product quality, partnership-based cooperation and good services are the decisive criteria for long-term success. Fensterbau Frontale has shown that it is above all the concrete implementation that counts. Solutions must work in everyday life, create added value and be refined in dialogue.
