Winkhaus at the Fensterbau 2024
" Way too much to keep under wraps."
The most important trade fair for the building components industry opens its doors in Nuremberg from 19 to 22 March. Fensterbau Frontale 2024 will be the showcase for groundbreaking innovations, and Winkhaus, the specialist in window, door, and access technology, will be there. Under the slogan "Way too much to keep under wraps.", the company will be presenting trade visitors in Hall 4, Stand 4-243 with a wide range of new product developments, digital services, and services with added value for customers, as well as an eagerly awaited world premiere.
Wide range of services
Winkhaus is well known for its wide range of services and the services it offers. These include tailor-made training courses, support with master data maintenance and system tests for burglar resistance, as well as leakage and long-term function tests on window and door elements or tests in accordance with TBDK guidelines.
Winkhaus has further expanded its online platform to make day-to-day business even easier for its customers. Window, door, and security professionals will find many useful tools here, including a configurator for security door locking systems, a user-friendly ordering system for new and repeat orders of locking systems, a wide range of marketing materials to download and much more. Visitors to the show can experience the benefits of Winkhaus services and the portal live on the stand.
Innovations for windows
In addition to the announced premiere, Winkhaus will be presenting numerous innovations in the field of window technology, which will increase productivity in the factory and improve functional reliability for the user.
For the activPilot hardware programme, which is so popular with window manufacturers, Winkhaus is presenting a series of ingenious further developments that benefit this unique system in many ways: for efficiency in window production, for ease of use and for the security that end users value so highly.
Many Winkhaus customers have already opted for the strong hinge side of the activPilot Concept window hardware system, which can support sash weights of up to 150 kilograms. Trade visitors who are not yet familiar with the benefits of this technology will have the opportunity to find out more at the stand.
If you want to build elegant windows with narrow profiles and a large-glazed area, Winkhaus offers the concealed activPilot Topstar fitting. Not only does this fitting have a high load-bearing capacity for large sash weights, but it now also features innovations that make it easier to handle heavy sashes in production and on the construction site. Anyone interested in solutions for barrier-free construction and healthy ventilation will also find what they are looking for at the stand.
On request, visitors can also find out more about the latest additions to the aluPilot hardware system for aluminium windows in the commercial sector.
The smartphone as a door opener
With blueMotion+, blueMatic EAV4 and blueMatic EAV4+, Winkhaus is launching the new generation of motorised security door locking systems. With blueMatic EAV4 and EAV4+, a new, powerful 24-volt motor ensures greater security and convenience. The door is locked by simply pulling and unlocked by motorised retraction of the hooks. It can be opened with all standard access control systems - whether finger scanner, intercom or simply by pressing a button - and, of course, with a conventional front door key.
The highlight of the new blueMatic EAV4+ and blueMotion+ door locking systems is the added convenience. This is provided by an innovative motor housing with an integrated radio module that communicates with the smartphone via Bluetooth® or WLAN. This allows the door to be unlocked with the blueMatic EAV4+ and locked and unlocked with the blueMotion+. And all this works very easily via Winkhaus' own doorControl app (Android and IOS). It turns your smartphone into a universal door opener. Additional access controls are possible, but not necessary. This saves technical effort and costs when manufacturing the doors.
Secure accesses individually
In addition to high-performance security door locking systems, Winkhaus also supplies locking cylinders. At this year's Fensterbau Frontale, the manufacturer will be presenting a wide range of mechanical solutions. The keyOne X-pert, keyTec N-tra / N-tra+ and keyTec VSX / VSX+ systems are the focus. keyOne X-pert impresses with its variety and is a popular stock cylinder. At the same time, the locking system offers plenty of scope for customised special solutions. Visitors to the Winkhaus stand will be able to find out in detail about the possibilities offered by this technology.
The presentation of the reversible key system keyTec N-tra+ will be of particular interest to security experts. With AZE protection, a technical copy protection in the key that is interrogated in the cylinder core, six spring-loaded tumblers and a third and second interrogator row, the N-tra+ offers an elevated level of security and convenience for medium to large locking systems.
The robust keyTec VSX+ serrated key system will also be on show. It features a patent-pending, innovative combination of a partial undercut in the key with optional undercut detection, known as Active Undercut Detection (AUD).
Compact electronic locking system for home, work, and clubs
Alongside mechanical locking systems, the app-configurable electronic locking system blueCompact will also be showcased at the Nuremberg stand. It features flush-mounted electronic cylinders and an access reader for indoor and outdoor use. A configurable automatic deactivation of the permanent release makes it particularly interesting for clubhouses and business premises. blueCompact is just as popular with fire brigades or sports clubs as it is with smaller companies or upmarket private homes. And wherever several doors need to be locked with one identification medium and access needs to be controlled in terms of time and location.
With this wealth of innovations, Winkhaus underlines its claim and its self-image as a partner to industry, trade, and commerce, who drives its customers' business forward.
